President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday welcomed two French nationals who returned to Paris after spending nearly 4 years detained in Iran on espionage expenses, with the French chief hailing “the tip of a horrible ordeal”. Cecile Kohler, 41, and Jacques Paris, 72, arrived on a business flight, touchdown at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris shortly earlier than 9:00 am (0700 GMT). They had been met on the tarmac by international ministry officers.
