Two cabinet-level ministers in Peru have resigned after interim President Jose Maria Balcazar introduced he would defer a choice to purchase F-16 fighter jets from the USA firm Lockheed Martin.
Defence Minister Carlos Diaz and Overseas Minister Hugo de Zela cited their opposition to the transfer of their resignation letters on Wednesday.
