Israel’s killing of a distinguished Lebanese journalist in a double-tap strike has been greeted with worldwide outrage as Lebanon’s prime minister described the assault as a “warfare crime”.
Amal Khalil, 43, who labored for al-Akhbar newspaper, was buried on Thursday after she was killed in what colleagues described as a sustained assault by Israeli forces. Rescuers making an attempt to dig her out of the rubble of a constructing have been additionally focused and prevented from offering life-saving help.
