Amazon, one of many world’s largest employers, has for years confronted scrutiny over its security file. When Billy Foister, a 48-year-old employee, died after a coronary heart assault inside one of many tech big’s warehouses in September 2019, managers have been accused of telling employees to “get again to work”.
When one other employee died this month at a distribution heart in Troutdale, Oregon, an Amazon spokesperson claimed they’d collapsed from an “present medical problem”. They denied a report {that a} close by worker was instructed: “Please get again to work.”
