SLAVUTYCH, Ukraine (AP) — Individuals streamed into the central sq. of Slavutych within the early hours of Sunday, putting candles on a big radiation hazard image laid out on the bottom as a midnight commemoration started for these killed within the Chernobyl catastrophe 40 years in the past and the 1000’s who risked lethal radiation publicity to include its aftermath.
