A humpback whale calf that earned large media consideration and the nickname Timmy after being repeatedly stranded in shallow waters close to Germany has been launched into the North Sea by rescue staff.
The operation to save lots of the ocean mammal, launched as its well being deteriorated, transported Timmy in a water-filled barge and launched him off Denmark on Saturday.
