Scores of rivals have lined up for an uncommon sporting problem, which noticed them run up Dorset’s Gold Hill carrying a 23kg (51lb) cheese-style truckle.
The Gold Hill Cheese Race in Shaftesbury was based in 2012 and sees as much as 100 individuals race up the steep cobbled road, identified to many as “Hovis Hill” after a Nineteen Seventies TV advert.
