A 9-year-old boy has been rescued after residing locked in his father’s utility van in japanese France since 2024, based on the native prosecutor. The kid has been hospitalized, and his father detained.
Police had been alerted by a neighbor to the “sounds of a kid” coming from a van on Monday within the village of Hagenbach, close to the borders with Switzerland and Germany, based on a press release on Saturday from prosecutor Nicolas Heitz.
