Following the detention and deportations of activists crusing to Gaza to ship humanitarian assist, activists left Tunisia in a multi-vehicle convoy on Tuesday destined for Gaza to protest Israel’s assist blockade on the enclave. Though the convoy is just not carrying assist, the symbolic gesture represents mounting worldwide stress on Israel to raise its siege on Gaza, which threatens to trigger mass hunger within the enclave.
