This wave of expulsions is a part of the “Plan for the Repatriation of Foreigners in an Unlawful State of affairs”, carried out since October 2023 by the Pakistani authorities, who cite safety causes amid the resurgence of terrorist assaults within the nation. Tens of hundreds of Afghans have been deported in consequence.
