Afghanistan and Pakistan have agreed to a right away ceasefire in talks mediated by Qatar and Turkiye following every week of fierce and deadly clashes alongside their disputed border.
Qatar’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs stated early on Sunday that Afghanistan and Pakistan had agreed to the ceasefire “and the institution of mechanisms to consolidate lasting peace and stability between the 2 nations”.
