WHITTIER, Alaska (AP) — Squeezed between glacier-packed mountains and Alaska’s Prince William Sound, the cruise-ship cease of Whittier is remoted sufficient that it’s reachable by only a single street, by a protracted, one-lane tunnel that automobiles share with trains. It’s so small that just about all its 260 residents stay in the identical 14-story condominium constructing.
