In 2005, Barb Trammell gathered some buddies for a charity basketball recreation to boost cash for an outdated historic constructing in Lansing, Iowa. Abiding by the Twenties women’s 6-on-6 game rules created in her home state and donning the traditional “bloomer” uniforms, the exhibition recreation of “Granny basketball” was a success with locals.
