A federal courtroom in Argentina has ordered home arrest for the daughter of a former Nazi official and her husband after a raid did not find a portray stolen from a Jewish artwork seller in Amsterdam.
Authorities raided a house within the coastal metropolis of Mar del Plata final week after a Dutch newspaper identified a painting seen in an actual property picture as an Italian masterpiece registered on a database of misplaced wartime artwork.
