Earlier within the evening, police wrote that demonstrators had been "confronting Federal Protecting Safety Personnel and Nationwide Guard members."

Demonstrators met up for the protest on Friday at round 9:30 a.m. outdoors Metropolis Corridor on Spring Road and took a 1.5-mile route via downtown, in line with native outlet KCAL.
