An artist who restored a fresco in a church in central Rome with a likeness of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has worn out his personal paintings after it sparked outrage. The story started on Saturday when La Repubblica day by day revealed that the face of a freshly-restored winged determine within the San Lorenzo in Lucina church intently resembled Meloni.
