Behind the World Biking Championships: Pedalling to outlive

With its steep slopes and sharp bends, the land of a thousand hills has solid itself a brand new id: that of a biking nation. However removed from the highlight of the World Championships, which came about in Kigali from September 21 to twenty-eight, bicycles are a part of day by day survival for 1000’s of Rwandans. Past sport or leisure, the bike is usually a device to make ends meet — generally on the danger of life and infrequently for a meager reward.
