Hélène Perlant, daughter of French Prime Minister François Bayrou, revealed she was bodily assaulted by a priest on the Notre-Dame de Bétharram college throughout a summer season camp within the Eighties. Her testimony is featured within the upcoming e-book Le Silence de Bétharram, which compiles accounts from different victims and is due for launch this Thursday. Perlant described the college surroundings as oppressive and in contrast it to a sect, including that her father was unaware of the abuse.
