BEIJING, Jan 16 (Reuters) – Canada and China are forging a brand new strategic partnership that guarantees “historic” features by leveraging on one another’s strengths, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney informed Chinese language chief Xi Jinping on Friday.
The primary Canadian prime minister to go to China since 2017, Carney was on a mission to rebuild ties with Canada’s second-largest buying and selling companion after the USA, following months of diplomatic efforts to resolve earlier rigidity.
