A Kansas Metropolis nonprofit marked a milestone Friday with the opening of its one centesimal location geared toward rising entry to contemporary meals in underserved neighborhoods. Kanbe’s Markets put in the brand new location on the town’s east facet, serving elements of Raytown. The enlargement comes after the latest closure of the Solar Contemporary grocery retailer close to thirty first Avenue and Prospect Avenue, which leaders say underscores the necessity for extra meals entry.
