On Saturday, my colleague Bonchie introduced us the information about Hamas’ newest act of egregious and visual cruelty, with the story of an emaciated Israeli hostage being compelled to dig what his captors are claiming shall be his personal grave. The scene, shot deep in what seems to be a Hamas tunnel below Gaza, is horrifying, however for these of us who’ve been watching Hamas, it is (sadly) not shocking.
