Behind enormous locked gates, the sprawling expanse of concrete and scrubland was purported to be a hive of exercise by now. Previously the positioning of Barking Attain energy station, these 17 hectares (42 acres) of business land at Dagenham Dock in east London had been attributable to be redeveloped into a brand new, purpose-built wholesale meals marketplace for the capital.
