For years, British graduates adopted a well-recognized path: full a level, apply for schemes in London, Manchester or Birmingham, and hope to carve out a foothold in a crowded market. However that path is narrowing. Final 12 months alone, 1.2 million purposes have been submitted for simply 17,000 UK graduate roles. Even for top achievers, progress can really feel like standing in a queue that isn’t shifting.
