We host the EU Ombudswoman, Portuguese politician Teresa Anjinho, who says she goals to make her workplace the “reference level for integrity points”. The workplace itself known as the EU Ombudsman, regardless that it has now been led by two ladies. It was established within the early Nineteen Nineties as an unbiased establishment that investigates complaints about poor administration by EU establishments and our bodies. We talk about the priorities of her five-year mandate, which started this February, and the transparency points surrounding scandals reminiscent of “Pfizergate”, “Qatargate” and “Huaweigate”.
