EU weighs response to drastic US cuts in international support: 'America First', growing world final?

Commerce, defence and Ukraine will not be the one areas during which the EU is going through an enormous problem from the Trump administration. The US president’s “America First” agenda is having a huge effect on the growing world. In March, it was introduced that 83 % of USAID programmes and contracts have been being terminated. These programmes “don’t serve US pursuits”, members of the Trump authorities say. However critics – together with some MEPs in Brussels – say the de-funding is costing lives, for instance in relation to remedies for HIV.
