As Halloween approaches, two sweet bars have been recalled on account of undeclared nut allergens, the Meals and Drug Administration introduced on Monday.
Zingerman’s of Ann Arbor, Michigan, pulled two of its sweet bars from shops in Michigan and New York after discovering that their packaging didn’t record the presence of peanuts or cashews.
The FDA stated the issue was brought on by a “short-term breakdown within the manufacturing and packaging processes” that has since been resolved.
Individuals with an allergy or sensitivity to the nuts run the danger of a critical or life-threatening allergic response in the event that they eat the sweet bars. Thus far, no sicknesses have been reported.

The Peanut Butter Crush bars might include undeclared cashews, and the Cashew Cow bars might have undeclared peanuts.
