The incident occurred on Dec. 13 when Air Canada Flight 1502 was getting ready to depart Toronto Pearson Airport for Moncton, New Brunswick, the outlet mentioned.

Passengers instructed CBC that distressing sounds of muffled banging and determined screams shortly stuffed the rear of the plane because it started taxiing towards the runway, prompting flight attendants to dash down the aisle in alarm.

The plane reportedly halted earlier than reaching the runway. Moments later, the trapped floor crew member emerged safely from the cargo and entered the cabin, reassuring shaken passengers that he was unhurt, Caron reported.

Air Canada confirmed to CBC that no accidents have been reported within the incident.

Caron added that the crew member concerned was reportedly helping floor workers by loading gadgets as an additional set of palms and should have been left unaccounted for when the doorways closed.
