Ever since John Cena’s 2025 retirement tour was introduced, followers have fantasized in regards to the prospect of former rival Adam Copeland, referred to as Edge in WWE, returning to WWE to face him. When Copeland revealed on AEW programming that he was taking an absence and wasn’t certain if he’d be again, many followers started speculating on him dealing with Cena, regardless of him being underneath AEW contract.
