A French soldier was killed in an assault within the Kurdish area of northern Iraq, French President Emmanuel Macron has mentioned.
Chief Warrant Officer Arnaud Frion “died for France” whereas stationed within the Erbil area, Macron mentioned on Thursday, in what he condemned as an “unacceptable” assault.
