Bluegrass virtuoso Sierra Hull is savoring a season of milestones. With 4 Grammy nominations for her newest album, A Tip Toe Excessive Wire, the Byrdstown, Tennessee, native admits the popularity feels surreal. “I really feel like I’ve already received,” Hull informed Newsweek. “I am simply using excessive that folks thought sufficient of this mission to offer us these nominations. That simply looks like already a present in and of itself. So I am so grateful.” The 34-year-old has a lot to be thankful for. In March, she launched her sixth album, A Tip Toe Excessive Wire, to widespread acclaim. The album, her first in over 5 years, showcases Hull’s virtuosic talent as a mandolinist, guitarist, and singer/songwriter. These adept string expertise and a magnetic stage presence have made her a drive to be reckoned with within the style. The Nashville-based artist’s jam-packed yr has carried her throughout the USA, performing with greats like Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and Billy Strings. “To be on the Outlaw Tour with Willie and Bob was superior,” Hull recollects. “It is like an up-close grasp class.”
