New York governor Kathy Hochul signed laws on Friday aimed toward holding giant AI builders accountable for the protection of their fashions. The RAISE Act establishes guidelines for higher transparency, requiring these firms to publish details about their security protocols and report any incidents inside 72 hours of their incidence. It comes a couple of months after California adopted comparable laws.
