For so long as anybody can bear in mind Andry José Hernández Romero was enthralled by the annual Three Kings Day celebrations for which his Venezuelan house city is famed, becoming a member of hundreds of fellow Christians on the streets of Capacho to recollect how the trio of sensible males visited child Jesus bearing gold, frankincense and myrrh.
At age seven, Andry turned a Mini King, as members of the city’s youth drama group Los Mini Reyes had been recognized. Later in life, he tattooed two crowns on his wrists to memorialise these carnival-like Epiphany commemorations and his Catholic roots.
