Tuesday on FNC’s “Fox & Mates,” Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth pushed again towards media and Democrat assaults on his management position based mostly on allegations of unsecured communications by way of the Sign app.
Hegseth attributed the assaults to undermining the left-wing agenda of the earlier administration.
“Mr. Secretary, do you assume — you’re taking this job, you are available with conflict expertise and all of your nice background,” co-host Brian Kilmeade stated. “Do you assume there’s lots of people don’t need you there and there’s some sort of deep state forces that wish to ensure you don’t keep there?”
“They’ve come after me from day one, similar to they’ve come after President Trump,” Hegseth replied. “I’ve gotten a fraction of what President Trump received in that first time period. What he has endured is superhuman. It’s not laborious for me to do that job. I do know precisely why I’m right here: to convey conflict preventing and the conflict preventing ethos again to the Pentagon, to tear out the insidious ideologies and never compromise and never again down, to herald new press voices into the Pentagon, which we’ve carried out, to reestablish requirements and accountability, to not tolerate leakers, to 100% operational management of our border [and] to eliminate trans-lunacy within the navy. We haven’t backed down.”

And if folks don’t prefer it, they’ll come after me. No worries. I’m standing proper right here. The warfighters are behind us. Our enemies know they’re on discover. Our allies know we’re behind them. And that, on this harmful world for the American folks, is what it’s all about.”
