As France’s embattled Prime Minister makes one last attraction to French Parliament, FRANCE 24’s François Picard welcomes Renaud Foucart, Economist and Senior Lecturer within the Division of Economics at Lancaster College Administration Faculty. Whereas Mr. Foucart does take subject with Bayrou’s earlier warning that the IMF has France on its radar, he does agree that France should cut back debt, ‘can’t ignore this anymore’, likening the present scenario to the ‘proverbial boiling frog’.
