Because the strain rises for Republican lawmakers to launch the Jeffrey Epstein recordsdata, Democratic lawmakers like Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) are developing with inventive — and cringeworthy — methods to show up the warmth.
In a viral video seen throughout social media platforms, Johnson determined to choose up a guitar and create a tune to the tune of singer Jason Isbell’s hit single, “Dreamsicle,” and American voters are giving him each the side-eye and laughs. “I’m Congressman Hank Johnson, coming to offer you some ear sweet or maybe an ear ache, however I’m going to do my better of this Jason Isbell tune ‘Dreamsicle,” he states in his introduction.
Then, Johnson begins singing, beginning with the lyrics,” Epstein dies by suicide, imagine that and also you should be blind.”
Some social media customers took the video in stride and appeared to encourage him to maintain going. One person even prompted him to take his present on the highway. “Please give up your day job and take this on the highway,” one X person stated. One other stated the tune was “kinda exhausting.”
Others are stating that the recordsdata, allegedly holding the names of high-profile dignitaries who engaged in intercourse trafficking and different unlawful actions with the previous financier, aren’t any laughing matter.
