Following Qatar’s statements on the Worldwide Courtroom of Justice (ICJ) debate, through which it known as Israel’s actions in Gaza against the law, accused Israel of ravenous civilians and finishing up a “colonialist marketing campaign,” the Prime Minister’s Workplace (PMO) known as on Qatar to decide on a facet on Saturday.
“The time has come for Qatar to cease enjoying either side with its double discuss and resolve if it is on the facet of civilization or if it is on the facet of Hamas barbarism. Israel will win this simply warfare with simply means,” the PMO wrote.
“Israel is combating a simply warfare with simply means. After the October 7 atrocities, Prime Minister Netanyahu outlined the Struggle of Redemption as a warfare between civilization and barbarism,” the assertion added.
Qatar later rejected the statements as “inflammatory.”
“The State of Qatar firmly rejects the inflammatory statements issued by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Workplace, which fall far in need of probably the most primary requirements of political and ethical accountability,” Qatar’s overseas ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari posted on X early on Sunday.
Al-Ansari criticized the portrayal of the Gaza battle as a protection of civilization, likening it to historic regimes that used “false narratives to justify crimes towards civilians.”
