Nearly each couple that I do know of their 20s, 30s and even 40s has had the identical argument with their dad and mom earlier than getting married.
The dad and mom say to open a marriage registry. The couple responds that they don’t want one. They don’t count on presents from marriage ceremony friends (their “presence is sufficient”), they usually have been cohabiting for years and have already got plates, bedsheets and a blender. In truth, since they stay in a small rented residence, they barely have room for the plates that they do have – not to mention a set of china.
