LANGKAWI, Malaysia, Nov 10 (Reuters) – Malaysian patrols searched coastal waters within the Andaman Sea on Monday for dozens of members of Myanmar’s persecuted Rohingya minority, after a ship believed to be carrying them sank final week and one other went lacking.
At the very least 21 our bodies have been discovered because the vessel went down on Thursday – 12 in Malaysia and 9 in neighbouring Thailand – the regional head of Malaysia’s maritime company, Romli Mustafa, informed reporters.
