In the course of the Nov. 4 episode of The Megyn Kelly Present, Kelly thought it prudent to counter factors made by Obama on a press tour for her new e book, The Look.
In The Look Obama writes about feeling strain to straighten her hair to fulfill public expectations.
“As ladies of colour, the way in which our hair naturally grows out of our head is gorgeous, but when we wrestle to make it appear to be the usual, meaning we’re spending hundreds of hours and plenty of cash straightening out what is of course curly hair,” Obama mentioned. “And that takes day out of your life. Kelly countered on air, calling Obama’s perspective “bull—”
