A mini photo voltaic telescope aboard the Worldwide Area Station caught the first-ever photos, which reveal the refined and never-seen modifications within the outer ambiance of the Solar. It is called the Coronal Diagnostic Experiment (CODEX) and has been designed to grasp the photo voltaic corona, the outer layer of the Solar, in depth. This mini telescope capabilities like a coronagraph, which blocks the Solar’s disk to mimic the overall photo voltaic eclipse. CODEX was delivered by SpaceX Dragon on November 5, 2024. It was mounted on the ISS utilizing the Canadarm2 robotic arm on November 9, 2025.
