Brussels — European allies at NATO on Thursday brushed apart considerations that america has stepped again from its management function of the world’s greatest safety group, leaving them and Canada to do the lion’s share of defending Europe.
U.S. Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth didn’t attend Thursday’s gathering of protection ministers at NATO headquarters in Brussels. His no-show got here after Secretary of State Marco Rubio skipped the final assembly of NATO overseas ministers in December.
