Singer-songwriter Neil Younger has cancelled his upcoming European tour. The 80-year-old was scheduled to start a run of dates on the Eden Venture in Cornwall on June 27, with different UK exhibits scheduled for Manchester, Chelmsford, Glasgow, Blenheim Palace and Cardiff. Full dates under.
“I’ve determined to take a break and won’t be touring Europe this time,” says Younger. “Because of everybody who purchased tickets. I’m sorry to allow you to down, however this isn’t the time. I do love enjoying dwell and being with you and the Chrome Hearts.”
The information arrives hours after Twisted Sister cancelled their upcoming 50th anniversary shows following Dee Snider’s resignation from the band on well being grounds. In keeping with the band, Snider has been affected by degenerative arthritis and coronary heart issues.
“I do not know of some other approach to rock,” says Snider. “The concept of slowing down is unacceptable to me. I would relatively stroll away than be a shadow of my former self.”
Twisted Sister confirmed plans for 50th anniversary shows last September, a decade on from their last Forty and F*ck It tour present in Monterrey, Mexico. The tour was scheduled to start in São Paulo, Brazil, in April, with pageant dates throughout Europe booked, together with Copenhagen’s Copenhell, Oslo’s Tons of Rock, Barcelona Rock Fest and Steelhouse in Wales.
In keeping with guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda, the way forward for Twisted Sister “will likely be decided within the subsequent a number of weeks.”
