Libby March/Buffalo Information/AP PEMBROKE, N.Y. — A tour bus returning to New York Metropolis from Niagara Falls with 54 folks on board crashed and rolled Friday on an interstate freeway, killing 5 passengers and injuring many others, authorities stated.

The bus apparently misplaced management on Interstate 90 close to Pembroke, about 25 miles east of Buffalo. Folks inside had been ejected because the home windows shattered.

"Right now we've a number of fatalities, a number of entrapments and a number of accidents," stated Trooper James O'Callaghan, a spokesperson for the New York State Police, including that youngsters had been on board.

The bus was touring eastbound when it went into the median and ended up in a ditch on the best facet of the street, O'Callaghan stated. Most passengers had been of Indian, Chinese language and Filipino ethnicity, he stated.
