Nolan Siegel apologized for a profanity-laced outburst on his in-car radio Sunday evening that was crucial of a penalty issued to him by race officers.

Through the race at World Vast Expertise Raceway, Siegel was penalized with a drive-through penalty for blocking when being lapped by Scott McLaughlin, who had turned Siegel within the earlier race at Detroit.
Siegel was not proud of the penalty, telling his workforce over the radio: “[Expletive] that [expletive]. Inform Penske to go [expletive] themselves. I would like you to speak to them about that penalty. That’s [expletive] [expletive].”
McLaughlin drives for Staff Penske, and Penske Leisure operates the racing sequence.
“I had an outburst on the radio that ought to not have occurred,” Siegel stated Wednesday on his Instagram story. “So I simply wish to apologize to everybody at Arrow McLaren, everybody on [my No.] 6 automobile, all of our companions, all of our followers which are right here to help us.
“That was not a proud second for me. It’s one thing that I remorse. And it was a mistake. I’ve a whole lot of respect for Scott, for Staff Penske and everybody at INDYCAR which are doing their jobs to the very best of their capacity and doing a very good job.”
McLaughlin posted on X that he and Siegel “had a great chat after the race.” Siegel completed nineteenth within the race and sits twenty first within the sequence standings.
“It’s a stress cooker in INDYCAR,” Siegel stated. “It’s a particularly demanding state of affairs. It was irritating. I let that get to me after I shouldn’t have. I’m human. I make errors.”
Arrow McLaren put out an announcement saying workforce executives had talked to Siegel.

The workforce additionally requested for civility on social media.
