Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Employees (JCS) on Friday mentioned a North Korean civilian had defected throughout the closely mined land border into South Korea, with the assistance of the South’s navy in a 20-hour operation.
Whereas tens of hundreds have fled North Korea to the South for the reason that peninsula was divided within the Nineteen Fifties, most take an oblique route by China and a 3rd nation like Thailand.
