Northwestern College on Tuesday introduced that former president Henry S. Bienen, who led the college from 1995 to 2009, will change outgoing president Michael Schill. Northwestern’s satellite tv for pc campus in Qatar marred Schill’s tenure, notably within the wake of the Oct. 7 terror assaults that drew consideration to the international and home sources fueling campus anti-Semitism. So it’s maybe ironic that Northwestern has tapped the person who launched the college’s Qatar campus to interchange him. Bienen established the college’s Qatar campus throughout his first stint as president, signing a contract with the Hamas-allied Gulf state that prohibits college students and college in Doha from criticizing the Qatari regime.
