Poland to vote in razor-tight presidential election

Poland votes on Sunday in a hotly contested presidential runoff that may pit the pro-EU Warsaw mayor in opposition to a nationalist historian in a decent race that might lengthen the political impasse within the NATO member nation. Rafal Trzaskowski, backed by the ruling centrists, and Karol Nawrocki, a political novice supported by the opposition Legislation and Justice celebration, are operating neck-and-neck in opinion polls.
