Police made dozens of arrests after an anti-ICE protest broke out inside a New York Metropolis resort Tuesday night, in keeping with stories.

Movies posted on social media present protesters chanting contained in the resort and holding up indicators, whereas refusing to go away the foyer.

Protesters could be heard chanting, "No ICE, No KKK, No Fascist USA" and " ICE out of New York ."

In a separate video, protesters chant, " Kristi Noem will cling," blatantly calling out the Division of Homeland Safety secretary.

Sam Raskin, a spokesperson for New York Metropolis Mayor Zohran Mamdani, launched a press release Tuesday in response to the protests and the police response.

"Mayor Mamdani commends the protestors who exercised their proper to protest towards ICE at this time," he mentioned. "As he has mentioned, ICE is a rogue company that has repeatedly carried out merciless, inhumane, and lawless raids, arrests, shootings, and even focused Americans. The Mayor can be happy with the NYPD's response to at this time’s peaceable protest."

At about 8:20 p.m., an NYPD bus carrying the arrested protesters departed the resort, whereas remaining protesters chanted, "We love you, we are going to get justice for you."

NYPD officers continued to face outdoors the resort entrance as the group slowly dispersed.
