Pope Francis’ coffin has arrived at St. Mary Main Basilica, often known as Santa Maria Maggiore, the place a personal burial ceremony will happen later immediately. The arrival was met by round 40 migrants, prisoners, homeless people, and transgender folks, every holding a white rose, symbolizing the pope’s deep take care of the marginalized.
