Seattle Airport delays flights after safety incident; suspect arrested

One suspect is in police custody and all departures have been delayed after a passenger made a "direct menace" to the protection of an Alaska Airways plane Saturday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

Alaska Airlines confirmed to Fox Information Digital there was a safety incident at about 1 p.m. involving Alaska Airways Flight 2123, operated by Horizon Air from Seattle to Walla Walla, Washington.

"Throughout taxi to the runway, a visitor made a direct menace to the safety of the aircraft to one in all our flight attendants," a spokesperson mentioned. "Our crew members adopted their procedures and secured the plane on a runway away from the airport."
